Matt Rankin | Asst Director/Stage Manager
Matt is from Richmond, VA, but is happy to call NYC
home. Matthew appeared as Jerry in Fringe ‘02’s Last Call, but began his alliance with the Clan
McAllister back in ’94, while acting in Steinbeck’s East of Eden, in Salinas, CA. Although he’s
been an actor most of his life, Matthew has done some time as a stage manager, working with the
Radio City Christmas Spectacular, Old Greensborough Storybook Theatre, and the Holderness
Theatre Co., and is thrilled to be helping Kelly direct Muse of Fire. While he hasn’t been on
stage as an actor in a while, Matthew can be found on stage, nearly every week, playing guitar
and singing with either his own band, Han Shot First, his other band, HapiKrak, or as a member
of the Indie Music Explosion’s Rock’n’Roll Time Capsule. When he’s not doing any of that cool
stuff, Matthew does find some time to do some work, as a marketing associate for Lincoln Center’s
List Art Collection.
